“Great Old-School Italian Restaurant Atmosphere.”

Great old-school Italian restaurant atmosphere. Food was quite good, server was friendly, and the band (Chuck Corby) was terrific with his from 60s-70s. Reservations advised - esp Saturday nite!

Johnny's is the best kept secret in the Pittsburgh area! Great Italian dishes for those that know Italian is more than pasta. Try the pan fried veal with hot peppers and mushrooms. Greens and beans or potatoes with hot peppers as a side or an antipasto. Steaks are over the top. Fridays and Saturdays are the busiest so relax have some wine and eat like an Italian! If you're in a hurry try Olive Garden. Kim and Ronnie are the best.

I couldn't love this place more. Pittsburgh's little Italian gem hidden away in Wilmerding. The menu is very old school traditional Italian fare. Chicken Parm. Their Chicken Romano is fantastic, as is their Greens and Beans. Very warm and nicely decorated year round. Wonderful service. Full bar. If you go on the weekend, best to make a reservation. Tuesday is pasta night. Discount pasta night. Go. Did I mention great steaks and desserts. Yum. I usually have a hard time breathing when I leave cause I'm so stuffed.

Outstanding food and service. We unfortunately needed to plan a wake. Ron was awesome and took care of everything the menu was great and prices are reasonable

Fabulous pasta and veal. The lemon cake is absolutely the best dessert.

Great food more laid back than your typical fancy resturaunt but food is top tier

we had the most wonderful experience with the kindest & most adorable busser, allison, & a fantastic waitress, natalie. the food was great & dessert was even better ! i highly recommend the signature johnny's dressing for any salad.
